In this blog, I want to share how I prepared for the challenge, how I stay accountable, and how I track my journey on GitHub and LinkedIn. This is not just my story—it's a roadmap that others can follow, especially those starting out with Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

🎯 Why I Started the 100 Days Challenge

As someone passionate about coding, I always believed that consistency beats intensity. The LeetCode 100 Days Challenge provided me with the perfect structured path to improve my DSA skills one day at a time. But starting any challenge is hard—so I began with help.

At the beginning, I followed the amazing roadmap created by edSlash – DSA with edSlash - LeetCode 100 Days. This structured guide helped me kickstart the challenge and gain momentum.

As days passed and my confidence grew, I began solving additional problems beyond the plan to build deeper insights and flexibility in problem-solving.

🧠 My Daily Preparation Strategy

Here’s how I tackle each day of the challenge:

✅ 1. Pick the Daily Problem

I refer to edSlash’s plan first. If I’ve already solved it, I explore unsolved problems under the same topic or difficulty.

✅ 2. Understand the Problem

Before jumping to code, I take time to understand what’s being asked and what constraints I need to consider.

✅ 3. Plan the Solution

I attempt to solve the problem on my own. If I get stuck, I research different approaches using blogs, YouTube videos, or LeetCode Discuss threads.

✅ 4. Refer When Needed

If I’m still not able to solve the problem, I study edSlash’s solution. It’s well-explained and beginner-friendly. I try to understand the thought process behind the code instead of just copying it.

✅ 5. Write Clean Code

I add comments to important sections of the code to make revisiting easier and also to improve readability.

• GitHub – I push each day’s solution to my repository to track progress and build my portfolio.

• LinkedIn – I post daily challenge updates to share my approach and connect with like-minded learners.
